Customizable Tracking Logs: You will need Microsoft® Word 2002 or higher.

Description

Shrink eats away at deli and bakery department net profits. Every $1 lost to shrink requires a $50 increase in sales (assumes store net profit margin is 2%). Short product shelf-life, high labor costs, and errors take their toll quickly. Most shrink is caused by people, so knowledgeable associates are key to reducing it. IDDBA's new SuperSkills: Controlling Shrink perishable-focused training program can help you build a culture around shrink awareness. It teaches staff how their actions affect shrink daily, and how they can play a critical role in gathering information necessary to track and reduce shrink.

This program teaches about the main causes of shrink:

  • inventory mishandling
  • errors
  • dishonesty
